Painted with an extensive lake landscape with scenes of pavilions, boats, figures amidst trees and mountains in the background. The side cartouches are decorated with the Bo gu, or ‘Hundred Antiquities’ which consists of a group of archaic bronzes and objects from the scholar’s study, including gu vases with blooming peonies, fangding and bi discs, ruyi sceptres, ding, incense burner, musical stone and other precious objects.
